Nature @ Maira

Nature has blessed "The Maira" in many ways with its location, climate, flora and fauna. The snow covered peaks of The Dhauladhar Range can be clearly seen from the village. The various religious points like temple of Maa Awahdevi at Awahdevi, Naina Devi temple at Riwalsar can be viewed from village. Being at the top of locality the various fertile fields of Gharshar, Dhamrol, Phalgot looks very beautiful in contour landscape.

Since the nature has blessed the village at its best, the villagers have also preserved the nature well. Most of the population in village is nature loving and are clinged to its roots. Along with the development people have preserved their tradition.
